This was one of those days I got to just relax and have fun with some natural light, new backdrops, new props, food and drinks, and a beautiful young lady, Jacolynn. The sunlight was filtering in like a flood bouncing off the white walls and wrapping around her like a blanket...it was so exciting. Thank you Jacolynn for giving me the opportunity to photograph you.

Can a woman feel any more beautiful than when she is carrying life inside her?! We started our session with Amy and her family so we could get the little one while he was still curious about this whole situation. Eventually, the boys went out for a bite leaving mom to strut her stuff. Amy relaxed and she began to glow ... I could see it in her eyes and face that she felt beautiful and special!

Ladies, this is your one stop shopping before the holiday rush... This Sunday (November 13th) we will be at the First Annual Women's Expo in Tulsa. I found this article from a magazine I read occasionally, called More. It is a women's lifestyle mag, published monthly. Anyway, I got choked up reading this piece from Emily Listfield. I had to blog this and share with as many women as possible!! A positive body image doesn't come with being skinny, perfect, or flawless....it comes from just being comfortable in your own skin. WOW!! I think I need to read this every day and schedule my own session...

I'm so excited for this weekend! Voulez Vous Boudoir will have a booth at the Tulsa Home & Garden Show & All About Me Women's Expo. Our first time ever to participate in an event like this. Drop in and see our cozy, colorful booth and get to know us. You can find us on the North side of the Women's Expo section (right across from Premier Popcorn). We will be there Friday the 29th from 12-8, Saturday the 30th 10-8, and Sunday the 31st 11-5.

I finally got moved into my new studio and here are some photos of the first shoot in the new space! It's so nice to finally have everything set up...props, backdrops, etc. It took a while, but I think it was well worth the wait...you should come check it out!We had such a fun time at this shoot!!!! Mrs. M had her hair and make-up done in the studio as part of the package, along with some light nibbles and champagne...it is a pampering session after all! She is a military wife and this was a gift she wanted to surprise her husband with while he was away. I think he'll be quite pleased.... :)As always....love, love, love.Lana
