Power in the Portrait

When you decide it's time to exist in photos you have realized how powerful a portrait really is and how important it is to your family and friends.  But, most of all I hope for you to FEEL and SEE the beauty of your own self; and LOVE who you are.  Be proud of who you are and let your light shine through your soul and eyes.  There IS Power in the Portrait when you feel and believe you are beautiful.Le Anne in her 50's has never had her portrait made.  The images shown are a few of her personal favorites.  When she came for her reveal I noticed she was resisting looking at her portraits.  As I walked her to the reveal wall I said to her, "this is you." Her eyes filled with tears as she took in one portrait at a time with not a word until she had looked at them all.  Then my eyes filled with tears and in my own moment I thought about how important my job is, how honored and grateful I am to give such a gift.  A gift that will change the way you see yourself and how you feel about yourself.  Don't wait, exist in photos and I'm not talking about the ones with your phone.  A portrait, a powerful one, the one that you can see in your eyes that you really believe you are beautiful and YOU believe it and others see it.
